Alice Shapiro is a multimedia artist focused on digital video in the experimental genre of Retrofuturism. Since 2018, she has used her handmade collages in her films. A graduate of SUNY Farmingdale and Hunter College, she studied with Professor William Packard at NYU. Her first one-act won the Bill C. Davis Drama Award and was produced nationally. Shapiro’s poetry and writing earned her multiple publications and a Silver Literary Titan Book Award for How I Escaped from Bloody Hell. She recently completed an artist residency in North Carolina.
